We are a close-knit community of off-roaders who own imported trucks. We are open to any owner of an imported truck or SUV that loves to go off-road. The association was officially started in 2004. We have members from all over the Northeast, ranging from New York to Maryland, Massachussets to Delaware and beyond. We really have only two criteria for membership:
- You must own a 4WD SUV or truck.
- You must LOVE to drive it off-road.
NIORA is a non-exclusive organization. We do not discriminate based on the manufacturer of your vehicle. We are open to all makes, models and sizes of 4x4s, SUVs and Trucks - maybe even a Barbie Powerwheels if the kid is cute enough!
What do we do?
NIORA is committed to setting forth a positive example among the 4WD and Off-Road community. We adhere strictly to the principles of TreadLightly!®. We are committed to providing a safe, legal and respectful environment for novice and experienced 4-Wheelers to enjoy the great outdoors in their chosen means, be it Truck, Dirt Bike, ATV, or even on foot.
As a Club Organization, we host several annual Four-Wheel-Drive events at various locations around the region, including, but not limited to, Paragon Adventure Park, Rausch Creek Off-Road Park, The Adirondack Mountains, Western Massachussets, Western New York, The George Washington National Forest, and many other spectacular locations around the Northeast. Many of our members can also be seen attending vehicle specific events, such as The East Coast Xterra Challenge (an all Nissan Xterra event held each Summer in Pennsylvania), annual Truck and SUV shows, such as the All Truck Nationals at Carlisle, and many other 4x4 and Off-Road oriented events throughout the year!
