Talk about trail ready. Cordless-rechargable or plug it in for full power capabilities. Flux core wire feed, weld up to 1/4 steel!!!
Wow! This is cool. Its the size of a small suitcase and just over 50 lbs.

we carbon arc at work on forklifts. kinda like jumper cables on the big 1000 amp 48 volt batteries. it's pretty fun.

They have a forum where they do give aways to members.

I like the Hobart Cordless because it is self contained and useable as a full functioning welder.
I like the Ready Welder because it is compact, more affordable, and easier to transport.
It really depends on how much welder you need. For something to have just for emergency repair or very seldom use, the ready welder is a great buy.
