 Post subject: M226 on steroids

My 2nd gen X came with the M226 Nissan rear axle (Dana 44 variant), same one that comes in the Frontier and Titan. Well after I blew it up (bearings went out, spider gears wemt boom) 5 weeks ago I had a hard time decising whether to rebuild back to stock or upgrade...so the result is

1. 4.56 gears from Superior Axle & Gear, ring and pinion shown with install kit and spacer
2. ARB locking rear dif (RD149)
3. Blue Torch Fab cover

Down side is that the 4.56 gear set for my Titan M205 front dif won't be released for 6 months, same is true for the ARB locking dif for the M205, so no wheeling for me until April.
