I did not get a final count but at least 25 trucks showed up to wheel.

Went up on Friday and hung out at the KOA with Dave and Andy. Had a few adult beverages, grilled up a few T-Bones and passed out.
Saturday up and at ‘em early… headed to the park and met up with everyone.
There was too much carnage to list but as for me received a bit more love from a tree to my passenger side rear quarter panel. Ripped off the plastic bumper piece (I’ve got a spare so no worries), zanged the TC skid plate hard enough that it twisted the cross member the holds the t-bar adjusters. That’s right I twisted my member…very funny.
I was done. Dropped the skid to assess the damage. It was ok to drive but not ok to wheel, if I smacked it again the t-bar could have come out.
Went to clean up at the KOA then headed over to O”Neal’s to get a head start on the rest of the crew. They rolled in by 7 and we had a great time BSing with good food and drink. Andy was our DD. Thanks bro.
My pictures are HERE.

LOL

Yeah, there seemed to be more carnage than normal.

In our group: my alternator (Yes, the 80 amp POS the truck came with....) needed to be swapped out, and my wife complained that I gave her shaken baby syndrome. (Had a spare alternator, have to work on a spare wife...)...

Brian's D-side t-bar adjuster stripped, and he had to replace it (Jason had a spare!) PS - Anti-Sieze is your friend. :D

Mike busted a shock.

Sean was overheating/but seemed to need just a dose of water and a new radiator cap to fix it.

Snowchaser's X was apparently suffering from a driver deficit, and it never left the parking lot...until time to head to O'Neal's.

It was great to see a bunch of you out there (And just OK to see the rest of you....)

:P

I had a great time -- and the all time best/worst stuck I ever had. Ended up slipping into a water hole on the approach to Lake Christy. There was a sign there -- Black Hole -- I thought that was the name and not the rating.

It ended up taking three trucks (two strapped together and strapped to a tree) using two winches the better part of an hour to get me out. By that time, the truck was on close to a 45 degree list (driver side down into the hole) with the water/mud just about up to the hood seam. I shut the engine down in time -- water entered the air cleaner box, but had not yet been sucked out to the engine. The water/mud level was about an inch below the fuse block. But the truck was still capable of running once it weas extracted and checked out.

As you can guess, I had a lot of fun cleaning out the carpet and driver's seat on Sunday.
